ERISA, or the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, was established in order to protect the retirement funds of Americans in the work force. Although it creates stipulations so that employees will be guaranteed their funds when they retire, it does not require that employers have a pension plan.

ERISA also protects other benefits given by the employer. At The ERISA Law Center, we deal most specifically with disability benefits and life insurance. Again, ERISA doesn’t require employers to provide these benefits, but rather it secures those already in place.

So what can ERISA attorneys do for you?

It’s simple. We are there so you don’t get cheated. With a team that is highly educated and experienced in ERISA law, we know where to look to find you your best case. If you already on claim, then we are there, in your corner, giving you the knowledge to understand your benefits and rights while making sure your claim is not limited or terminated unfairly. If, in the case it is, we are right there at your side, ready to fight for it back.

We understand that ERISA appeals and claims are different throughout the country. Although it is supposed to be a nation-wide law, it is implemented differently throughout the unique circuits in such a way that the courts are more rigid or giving in different areas. At The ERISA Law Center, we know the circuits intimately and can get you what you deserve no matter where you live.
